Monday, June 24, 2013 at 9:48PM Get Down Edits haven't done much to this Chic classic, but what they have done is fantastic, and I don't need ANY excuse to post some Nile Rodgers on my site. One of the best pieces of music EVER...

A new one from Earl Jeffers, also known as Chesus, who has been one of my favourite discoveries of 2013 so far. Can't wait to play this out at the weekend - sexy funk driven House. My fave.

Featuring samples from Quincy Jones' classic 'Betcha Wouldn't Hurt Me', here is a new piece of Disco from Manchester-based producer Ben Pearce, which is available as a free download courtesy of Annie Mac's MM. Very difficult to do a track like this justice, but 'Patticakes' oozes class from start to finish.
