'N.Y. State Of Mind' is the second track and first single from NaS' debut album, Illmatic, which was released in 1994 on Columbia Records. The track is produced by DJ Premier and contains two samples from 'Mind Rain' by Joe Chambers and 'Flight Time' by Donald Byrd - Preemo additionally scratches vocals from Eric B. & Rakim's 'Mahogany' for the chorus.

'Gravel Pit' is a single released by the Wu-Tang Clan from their album 'The W'. It was not as popular in the U.S. as other Wu-Tang Clan singles such as 'C.R.E.A.M.' and 'Uzi' - it did, however, receive major radio play, and topped the music video show 106 & Park for two weeks straight.
