Hip-Hop Classic #44: Warren G & Nate Dogg - Regulate (Chosen by Clancy)

'Regulate' is a track by Warren G & Nate Dogg, which was released in the summer of 1994, featuring on the soundtrack for Above The Rim and Warren G's album 'Regulate...G Funk Era'. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #8 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. It was without doubt the breakout single for both artists.
Clancy: "This record sound-tracked so many good times when I was at uni in Manchester - there was one proper hot summer and we moved our living room outside for weeks - sofa, chairs, tables, stereo, the lot - this booming in the background, BBQs burning, hanging with all your mates, day after day - such good times"
