Hip-Hop Classic #45: Slum Village - Fall In Love (Chosen by Wilfred Giroux)

'Fall In Love' is an album track taken from Slum Village's iconic 'Fantastic Vol.2', which was released June 13th, 2000 on Good Vibe. Produced by the late Jay Dee, it samples 'Diana in the Autumn Wind' by Gap Mangione and encompasses all of the elements that see him classed as the greatest by many.

Wilfred Giroux: "Alright, I think I'm gonna go for 'Fall In Love' by Slum Village. Simply because its one of my favourite instrumentals ever and, for me, shows J Dilla's production skills at his best. Hip-Hop was my first love growing up and this tune just reminds me of great times hanging out with my friends, drinking a few beers in the park in the summertime trying to kiss all the girls. Classic."
