Hip-Hop Classic #24: Dr. Dre - Xxplosive (Chosen by Alex Manzi)

All words by Alex Manzi: Anyway, after a long hard think, I am going to choose Xxplosive by Dr. Dre because it’s obvious that '2001' is a classic album and will always be considered one and, for me, this track sums it up perfectly. To think that they were producing a beat like this over 10 years ago just goes to show how far ahead of the times they were. It’s one of those tracks that will get your proper Hip-Hop heads hyped, but will also your more generic music fans just as hyped when they hear it. And that’s what I call good music.
