Here is my favourite track from Lalah Hathaway's sixth studio album, Where It All Begins, which was released yesterday on Stax Records. Being the daughter of the legendary Donny Hathaway meant that she had a head start on most when it came to natural talent and quality guidance/advice, but Lalah's refreshing vocal tone and incredibly hard working ethic has allowed her to become one of the most well respected female R&B vocalists over the past 20 years.
