Funk Butcher - Dirty South

Sampling the 'Southern Fried Intro' by Ludacris (along with 'The Breaks' by Kurtis Blow & 'If I Had A Choice' by Silverstone), here is the forthcoming single from Rinse FM DJ/Producer Funk Butcher. Butcher produces a wide variety of music, but this will be dropping on his Houseology label, which mainly focuses on his own House productions, along with Hardhouse Banton and a few other exciting signings. Love the groove and can definitely see this making its way into my next mix and Summer playlist - reminds me of an old Jamie Jones production, which is a very good thing. Dirty South, can you feel me...

Funk Butcher also has a new EP out with Marcus Nasty today, which is 4 tracks of bass for the club - check that out HERE.

The vocal sample is ripped from Timbaland's verse on "Are You That Somebody" by Aaliyah. Which is a shame, because you got me really stoked on someone sampling the Isaac Hayes riff on the Luda song.
