Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band - Where the Lights Meet the Music

'Where the Lights Meet the Music' is my favourite track from the new album by Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band, which dropped recently on Joey's ever impeccable Z Records imprint. 'The Secret Life Of Us' encompasses everything that I love about music - Soul, Funk & Disco, all tied together by Joey's ability to create House music that people of all ages can relate and dance the night away to. One of the standout albums of 2012 so far, by quite some way. Get yours HERE.

Joey Negro & The Sunburst Band - In The Thick Of It

Here is the lead single from the new album by The Sunburst Band, which is a band created by Joey Negro back in 1998, and consists of Michele Chiavarini, Julian Crampton, Thomas Dyani-Akuru and Tony Remy, as well as his regular vocalist Taka Boom, the sister of Chaka Khan. Basically, Joey Negro is one of the best producers in the world, and this is another one of his countless forward-thinking projects. Words can't describe how much I love his music, and how much I'm looking forward to this album.

Joey Negro pres. Akabu - Crystalised (Spiritchaser Remix)

It’s been a staggering 12 years since Dave Lee produced the first record under his Deep House, future obsessed Akabu guise on NRK, and alongside all the classic original productions/debut album 'The Phuture Ain’t What It Used To Be', there have been just as many amazing remixes across many musical genres. 'The Phuture Remixed' is a retrospective look back over the Akabu years taking in all the best remixes including some extended versions from Joey Negro himself. The first album sampler features the brand new remixes from Karizma, Roberto Rodriguez, JN and this stunning rework from the ever impressive Spiritchaser. On repeat - purchase.
