Wretch 32 - Thank You For The Music 2011

Wretch 32 would like to thank you for your support this year, and in turn we would like to thank him for his music. The London-born rapper is about to release his new single, Forgiveness, which features Etta Bond and will be released December 11th; but before that, we should all take the time out to appreciate what he has given us this year. Watch the video above, hit the jump to see his achievements and what some of his friends/fellow artists have to say about him.

Wretch 32 - Forgiveness (Feat. Etta Bond) (Todd Edwards Remix)

JHEEZ! Here is my favourite remix of the fourth single to be taken from Wretch 32's stunning album, Black & White, which comes courtesy of UK Garage legend Todd Edwards. Ministry Of Sound always put together the best remix packages, and this one is no exception - pre-order your copy HERE and it will arrive in your iTunes on December 11th. Classic 2-step vibes all day baby...

The Collective - Teardrop (Children In Need Single)

Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Ms. Dynamite, Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Chipmunk, Rizzle Kicks, Mz Bratt, Dot Rotten & Labrinth all hook up to bring us the official Children In Need single for 2011, which is a simple but effective re-working of Massive Attack's iconic track, Teardrop. The official video sees all of the artists in the studio with some stripped back and thought-provoking visuals, which puts emphasis on the incredibly powerful lyrics. Very well done.

Kano & Mikey J - E.T. (Feat. Wiley, Wretch 32 & Scorcher)

Following the Random Antics & Alien visuals courtesy of Grime Daily & SBTV, Soul Culture have unleashed a sick video ('insert Wiley here' is genius) for the third track from Kano & Mikey J's collaborative mixtape, Not 4 The A List. You can download this and the two previous tracks for free from HERE - N4TAL has the potential to be better than most albums this year.

Directed by Kalvador Peterson and Patrick Odur and produced by Versetti for SoulCulture Media.

Wretch 32 - Don't Go (Feat. Josh Kumra) (Star One Remix)

Here is my favourite remix from Star One's Freemixes EP, which follows on from their work with Ministry of Sound/Island Records, and during a time where they have been garnering support from influential DJ’s such as MistaJam, DJ Yoda and Oneman. The pair are now set to release ‘The Star-One EP’ on the 26th September through Carrot Records, but first you can download this EP which sees Chase and Status, Jamie Woon and Wretch 32 all get the Star One remix treatment that fuses Garage, Grime and House elements with their trademark use of chopped samples and subtle basslines. Download HERE.

Josh Kumra - Oaktree (Stand Your Ground)

A lovely new piece from upcoming soul singer Josh Kumra, who features on the current number one UK single 'Don't Go' by Wretch 32. Josh has been on the road with Wretch for the past few months, but he's also been working on some of his own stuff for an upcoming EP and a debut album. You can download a copy for free HERE.
