Sankeys release official statement following early closure on Saturday 11th February
Following its early closure on Saturday night, Sankeys have today released a statement explaining why the club was closed and what you should do if you were asked to leave early. Check it out after the jump.
We would like to apologise to all of our loyal customers for Saturdays
early closure at Sankeys. This was based on Police advice after 4 people had fallen ill and ambulances had been called to Ancoats. We wish these people a full and speedy recovery.
It was decided closing the club early was the safest option for everyone in the building, as the safety of all our patrons and staff is our paramount priority. We always work closely with the Police and believe this advice was the best decision to take and would like to thank Greater Manchester Police for their support on the night.
Sankeys has always maintained a rigorous anti-drugs policy in our club, and will continue to do so.
For anyone who was asked to leave on Saturday, Sankeys will be offering a
free alternative event. Please email joe@sankeys.info.
