NaS, Common & Q-Tip reportedly set to form super group The Standard

Back in 2007, Q-Tip & Common announced that they were to form a super group called The Standard - however nothing came to light, in a similar vein to that of CRS (KanYe, Lupe & Pharrell). However, in a recent interview with NYDN, NaS said that he "definitely" plans on doing an album with Tip & Comm in the future, fuelling speculation that the duo could well become a trio. Kamaal is currently working on his third studio album, and the follow up to 'The Renaissance', while NaS is readying his next LP 'Life Is Good'. We can live in hope.

Jazz FM broadcasts 'inappropriate' gay porn

Here's a news story you don't see every day. Jazz FM recently had to apologise to listeners after accidentally broadcasting what seemed to be a spoken soundtrack to a gay porn film on Saturday night, complete with 'moans and groans'. The incident took place during the usually flawless pre-recored 'Funky Sensation' show with Mike Vitti - over the course of several minutes, a 'mostly wordless', but still obviously heated interlude was playing in the background of the music being aired, as well as during adverts. Check out a full apology after the jump:

The House Of Coxhead looking for new writers

After 20 months of basically doing this on my own, The House Of Coxhead is now looking to branch out and bring in a couple of writers to help with the daily running of the site. I recently reached 500,000 hits and that lead on to me getting the wonderful Alya Mooro on board (also writes for MTV Wrap Up & Soul Culture), who will be contributing 3 in-depth reviews a month to the site.

What do you make of the Rihanna & Chris Brown remixes?

After much speculation surrounding the former superstar couple, Rihanna & Chris Brown last night went ahead and released two remixes, 'Birthday Cake' featuring Chris Brown and 'Turn Up The Music' featuring Rihanna. Now I'm all up forgiveness, but after reading what Chris Brown did to Rihanna back in 2009, is there anyway that he deserves be forgiven, and be on a track that is basically all about the couple having sex? Check out both remixes after the jump and let me know what you think. Sending out all the wrong messages to young girls about domestic violence, in my opinion.
