Jamie xx - It's So Good

Jamie xx has always been a master at using samples in the most unique ways, and that's no different on his new single 'It's So Good', which has been created for the latest CHANEL campaign. After teasing with some music back in 2022, let's hope that 2024 is the return of Jamie and a brand new album. Buy & stream the song here.

Erick the Architect - Ambrosia (Feat. Channel Tres)

Over the past few years, Erick The Architect and Channel Tres are two names within the rap world, who have genuinely excited me. They have both worked with a diverse and interesting list of artists, including the likes of Jungle, Honey Dijon, Loyle Carner, and Flight Facilities, to name just a few. They both work across mutliple genres, and have become much-loved within the dance music space. So good to see them working together... 'Ambrosia' is amazing. Listen and download here.

Dom Dolla - Saving Up

"Don't fix it, if it ain't broken?" Well, that'd be boring, right? Diverting away from his much-loved sound that has made him one of the hottest names in dance music over the past 8 years, it's very refreshing and exciting to see Dom Dolla switch it up for his latest release. Premiered in his set for Selected earlier this year, it's been a hotly anticipated ID in all of his sets. French touch vibes, but make it 2023.

Tems - Me & U

Safe to say that Tems has become one of my favourite artists in the world over the past 5 years... her music feels somewhat like therapy when you listen to it. Love how the afrobeat and amapiano sounds merge on this record to create something quite incredible.

Obongjayar - Who Let Him In

An artist that has been hustling since 2016, but made his name more recently on collaborations with Little Simz & fred again, Obongjayar is someone who doesn't fit within a genre or musical bracket. His music feels important, fresh and like nothing else out there. 'Who Let Him In' is a great progression in his sound as a solo artist and makes me very hyped for what his debut album will bring.

Jungle - Us Against The World

Jungle never miss. We are four albums into the Jungle project, and the level of quality is frightening. I remember watching them for the first time ever at their gig at Oval Space back in 2014... to see their journey since then has been quite incredible. Amazing songwriters, amazing producers. They deserve all of the success they're seeing. This the opening track on the latest album, and I love it so much.

James Blake - I Want You To Know

Wow... just finished my first listen of the James Blake album 'Playing Robots In Heaven', which is probably going to take a few more listens and some time to sink in just how good it really is. There are many highlights and the entire body of work is an incredible listen, but a standout track was 'I Want You To Know', which is an ethereal, classic James Blake flip of the classic 'Beautiful' by Snoop Dogg, Pharrell and Charlie Wilson. I very rarely throw the word genius out into the world... but having followed James' career since the very start and having had the pleasure to get to know him, it's the only world that really does his work justice. Must listen.

Burna Boy - On Form

One of Nigeria's biggest stars, Burna Boy has returned with a new album entitled 'I Told Them...'. The album features a star-studded line-up, including Dave, 21 Savage, J. Cole and two Wu-Tang legends, but it was this song that really caught my attention. Everything is really on form... his unique flow, the percussion, that bubbling bassline, it all works perfectly together and makes for one of the most infectious tunes we've heard for a while.

Jon Gravy - X To Love

BOOM! Coming straight out Austria, Jon Gravy X (real name Felix B. Nowak) cites legends such as Paul Johnson and Underground Resistance as his inspiration, creating his very own style of 808 and JV-1080 influenced House and Elektro music. Also feeling the Bicep vibes on this, with the emotive UK rave chords coming through in a big way. Feeling this one, a lot.

Disclosure - ENERGY

Banging new tune from the Disclosure boys, which features the same vocalist from the now legendary 'When A Fire Starts To Burn'. This is taken from their first album in 5 years, which judging by the feature list alone is shaping up to be another huge moment from this exceptional duo... Common, SlowThai, Syd, Kelis and many more. Cannot. Wait.
