Debbie - Rain

Once every so often, an artist comes along who just feels really special - Debbie is one of those people. Ever since featuring on the last Stormzy album back in 2022, she's someone who I've been following and keeping track of their journey. This new single 'Rain' feels like she's really started to find her sound and I can tell that this will be a huge year for Debbie. Can't get this one out of my head. LOVE! Stream here.

ML Buch - Flame shards goo

One of the most stunning pieces of music I've heard over the past few months - this song is taken from Danish artist ML Buch's debut album 'Suntub'. That guitar working with her voice is completely hypnotising and quite addictive. Grateful to have discovered her work this year... Check out the album here.

The Blessed Madonna, JOY (Anonymous) & Danielle Ponder - Carry Me Higher

Ever since The Blessed Madonna dropped it in her Boiler Room in Bali a few months ago, it's safe to say that 'Carry Me Higher' has been one of the most-wanted IDs around. A seriously uplifting and euphoric moment, which you can hear working on so many dancefloors around the world. TBM, Joy (Anonymous) and Danielle Ponder simply got everything right with this one.

Slauson Malone 1 - New Joy

Discovering artists like Slauson Malone 1 is the exact reason for restarting The House Of Coxhead. His style, sound and whole vibe is so refreshing on every level. Someone on YouTube described it as "a mix of Crumb, Steve Lacy, Thundercat and Brockhampton, but somehow unique and easily stands out", and it feels like a very accurate statement. Support the album here.

Erick the Architect - Ambrosia (Feat. Channel Tres)

Over the past few years, Erick The Architect and Channel Tres are two names within the rap world, who have genuinely excited me. They have both worked with a diverse and interesting list of artists, including the likes of Jungle, Honey Dijon, Loyle Carner, and Flight Facilities, to name just a few. They both work across mutliple genres, and have become much-loved within the dance music space. So good to see them working together... 'Ambrosia' is amazing. Listen and download here.

Argy & Omnya - Aria

One of the hottest IDs of the summer dropped on Friday, courtesy of Argy and Omnya on Tale of Us' imprint, Afterlife Records. The choir-esque vocal sample is so hypnotising, and the overall production builds in the most euphoric and captivating way. No surprise it's already #1 on the Beatport Melodic chart... can see this becoming Afterlife's biggest release to date.

Neumonic - Movin'

Once every so often, you come across a producer who just really impresses you. Santa Cruz based Neumonic is that person for me right now. Having discovered his music through his next level Eminem edit (see below) that Ricardo Villalobos has been rinsing all summer, I've become obsessed with his Soundcloud, loving his productions, edits and just his overall music taste. This new one is called 'Movin' and is taken from a 42-track compilation on ShadowTrix Music - the track is so well-produced, seamlessly moving through elements of dubstep, breakbeat, garage and bassline. Can't wait to see how his journey progresses, and I'll be coming along for the ride.

Jungle - Us Against The World

Jungle never miss. We are four albums into the Jungle project, and the level of quality is frightening. I remember watching them for the first time ever at their gig at Oval Space back in 2014... to see their journey since then has been quite incredible. Amazing songwriters, amazing producers. They deserve all of the success they're seeing. This the opening track on the latest album, and I love it so much.
