Glastonbury yesterday announced that tickets for their 2015 festival will go on sale at the beginning of October. Standard weekend tickets will go on sale at 9am BST on Sunday, 5th October. As in previous years, Festival goers will be able to book a ticket by paying a £50 deposit per person, online at glastonbury.seetickets.com. The full price of a Glastonbury 2015 ticket is £220 + £5 booking fee. Purchasers will be able to book up to six tickets per transaction. For more info, go HERE.

Glastonbury Festival have this week announced details of the 2014 EMERGING TALENT COMPETITION, which will give new, unsigned artists from the UK and Ireland the chance to compete for a slot on one of the main stages at this year's festival. Entrants from any musical genre can follow in the footsteps of previous entrants, who include Stornoway, Scouting For Girls, Treetop Flyers, the Golden Silvers, Ellen and the Escapades, the Subways and, last year, Bridie Jackson and the Arbour (who ended up playing five sets at Glastonbury 2013). Croatian-based festival Unknown today announced the first ever Boiler Room to be held on an island. Unknown is already set to be one of the highlights of many Summer's, but not content with offering a stellar line-up, the first ever Boiler Room Island will be available to a limited number of festival ticket holders on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th, whilst everyone back home will be able to watch the action unfold on the Boiler Room website. Django Django and PBR Streetgang will both be making their debut Boiler Room appearance on the island, joined by Bill Brewster, Craig Richards, Jackmaster and Optimo. Today's announcement comes with the news that Unknown's incredible boat parties have sold out and the festival issue a ticket warning as main event tickets run low. With just one month to go until the biggest weekend in Manchester's Summer, Parklife have today revealed their after parties for the event, which are set to take place across the city and feature some simply incredible names!
