Bristol based house producer Julio Bashmore took to Soundcoud this weekend to release 'Pelican' the B side to his upcoming single 'Husk'. A darker sound than the A side, while I still wouldn't call the EP his best work 'Pelican' works as a track none the less. Check it out after the jump.
DJ Q pays tribute to fellow Garage legend Todd Edwards with an hour long mix packed full of tracks either produced or remixed by the OG. Too damn good - get your free download while it's available.
Shadow Child with a stomping remix of 'Knee Deep In Louise' by Hot Since 82, which is a track that has been a regular feature in my sets this year. Out December 3rd on Moda Black.
Official visuals for the second track to be lifted from RoxXxan's forthcoming mixtape 'Prepare 4 When I Land', which is produced by Smurfie Syco. I like this lady.
Kick your weekend off in the right way with the new and final volume in Sem's 90's underground House series, which has been one of the highlights of 2012. Download below, and enjoy the very best music.
Jazzy chilled out piece of Drum & Bass from Gerwin & Nuage, which features some cool bars by 2SHY. Drum & Bass has never been my favourite genre, but when it's done like, there's nothing better.
Set to be released December 10th on Throne of Blood, NYC, here is a preview of a brand new single from Waze & Odyssey, who have been one of my favourite finds of 2012. Consistently brilliant, and at the forefront of this current resurgence in classic chord driven House, these two are pushing all the right buttons for me.
Some cool old skool visuals to go with the massive new single from Paragyuan production trio LPZ. Dancey vibez.
Here is my favourite track from Freeway's fourth studio album 'Diamond In The Ruff', which features Wale, Musiq Soulchild, Marsha Ambrosius and offers up production from Just Blaze, Bink!, DJ Khalil, Jake One and Needlz. Can't fault much that Freeway does, and this is another solid release.
