Murkage Live @ Reading Festival

Murkage take to the BBC Introducing stage at Reading festival to perform their incredible Dubstep/Grime/D&B/Hip-Hop set to loads of crazy kids. One of my favourite bands at the minute, so it's great to see their music being embraced by more people. Lots to come from these men over the next few months.

Ed Sheeran was at Reading Festival today - he performed on the Festival Republic Stage an hour or so ago, but earlier in the day he joined Huw Stephens on Radio 1 for a 3 track session on the BBC Introducing Stage. He performed his hit single 'The A-Team', a cover of the classic 'Feeling Good' and his latest single 'You Need Me', which is currently @ No. 5 on the iTunes chart. You can buy 'You Need Me' HERE and download the MP3 of the live session HERE.

DTMD - YOU

Here is a flavour of what you can expect from DTMD's album 'Makin Dollas', which is set to be released via Mello Music Group on September 20th. This takes me back to the 90s when Hip-Hop was raw and not about the money - it has a very Pete Rock/Dilla feel to it, and you can definitely hear the Oddisee & Kev Brown influences. You can download a copy of the single for FREE and pre-order the album HERE.

Mark Instinct & Adroa - Friction

A filthy piece of Drumstep from Mark Instinct & Adroa's collaborative EP, which was released on Beatport yesterday. Get your copy HERE and try to not go crazy on the drop. Unbelievably huge tune.

DJ Cable & DJ Hotpoint - UK Garage 2011

With UKG making a huge comeback in 2011, two of my favourite DJs have joined forces to provide you with a stunning mix which brings together everything that is positive within the genre 20 years after it first originated (surprised to see no Mike Delinquent present). They decided to go with a set of tunes that are not only accessible to the average clubber, but have also been staple tunes in both of their sets over the past year or so - together this makes for one of the best mixes you will hear this year. You can download it for free HERE and check the tracklist after the jump.

Sincere - Ain't Nobody Like You

Here is the video for Sincere's new single, which has been getting a lot of love and support from 1Xtra, and Mistajam in particular. You can cop any of the clothes Sincere is wearing from his own clothing line XYE, HERE. Massive tune and a decent video.

Killawatt - Capa

A snippet of this track has been floating around for months now, but yesterday the full version surfaced, and my God was it worth the wait. Most people are into heavy Dubstep with big drops, but this is more my vibe - a slow build up, rolling drops and haunting basslines that just make your head go back and forth.
