Following on from their 'Boiler Room Debuts' introduction late last month, rising stars Icarus have this week shared with the world their next installement of new music as they prepare to release their debut EP via Pete Tong's resurgent FFRR label. Entitled "Gold', the track comes in the form of a low-rolling slice of early 00's inspired tech-house that sees the production outfit test out a more bass-heavy sound than their debut release 'Cassia'. After teasing brief clips on BBC Introducing and Radio 6 Music, fledgling electronic duo Boy Scout have finally arrived fully formed presenting their ambient debut single 'Get Me By', which merges modernity with tradition to create an atmospheric soundscape reminiscent of both elements of folk and low-fi electronica - fans of Aquilo and London Grammar, enjoy.

Coming out on Island Records the label that brought us their 'Human EP' late last year, here is the new one from Lancastrian-duo AQUILO, who are without doubt one of the most exciting acts to breakthrough over the past 12 months. Cannot wait for an album from these guys - doing the North proud.
