My boys over at PinBoard caught up with Raphael Saadiq the other day @ Red Bulls recording studio - he did an exceptional acoustic performance of Good Man, which is one of my favourite tracks of 2011. His new album, Stone Rollin’, was released the other week and if you haven’t got yourself a copy, then you don’t know what you’re missing out on. Jack Leon Colton is a name that not many of you will recognise; I only came across his music a couple of weeks ago after a studio session that he did on UStream with Mr. Ed Sheeran. He has a very unique vocal tone and is an extremely talented lyricist, as you can hear on this new track that he uploaded to SoundCloud a few days ago. Look out for more from Jack in the near future. Liam Bailey

For those of you who don’t know who Liam Bailey is; he is the guy that is featured on the new Chase & Status track, Blind Faith. The other day he did an acoustic session for Soul Culture in Camden Town, which simply blew me away. First he performed his own track, I Belong, which is produced by the brilliant Salaam Remi and will feature on his forthcoming LP. He then did a cover of version of one of my favourite Etta James songs; I’d Rather Go Blind. This guy has incredibly amounts of talent, and then some.
