London tops Britain's illegal downloading chart

Today a new study has revealed that the capital of the United Kingom has topped the chart for most illegal downloads from torrent sites such as Pirate Bay (probably because it's the biggest, just saying). Manchester was the second UK city where illegal downloading was most popular, although the activity was three times more prevalent in London. In the capital Adele, Bruno Mars and Jessie J, were favourites amongst those illegally downloading music, with Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, Olly Murs, Cee Lo Green and Take That being the most popular in Manchester. Liverpool was the third biggest UK city for filesharing, followed by Birmingham and Glasgow. The top five most pirated artists across the whole of the UK were Adele, Jessie J, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.

Adele - 21: Best Selling Album of 21st Century

The Official Chart Company have today announced that Adele's mind-blowingly successful album, 21, has now become the biggest selling album of the 21st Century in the UK. The album is this week spending its 45th consecutive week in the Top 10 after shifting 61,274 copies - this means the sales total now stands at 3,418,131; this sees it pass Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black'. However, the most impressive fact is that its already the UK's 11th biggest selling album of all-time and is the second biggest selling album by a female artist (in the UK), behind Madonna's 'Immaculate Collection'. After less than 12 months, and with Christmas/New Year to come, I think it's safe to say she's smashed it.

Adele - Take It All x Someone Like You (Live @ The Royal Albert Hall)

Having brought you a few videos from her Royal Albert Hall performance over the past week, here are two of seventeen MP3s that will also be available on November 29th. 'Live At The Royal Albert Hall DVD' features the full 90 minute concert performance from September 22nd, plus special behind the scenes footage shot throughout the day leading up to the concert - the package also includes an exclusive live CD of the entire show (which these two MP3s have been taken from). This is the first time all of Adele’s hits and best loved songs will be on one CD, along with her breath-taking covers of Bonnie Raitt's 'If I Can’t Make You Love Me' and 'If It Hadn’t Been For Love' by The Steeldrivers. Two of my favourite Adele songs. Listen.
