Disclosure release full debut album details

Following two hugely succesful singles, and with 'You & Me' set to also storm the charts, Disclosure have now announced the full tracklist for their debut album, which is set to be released June 3rd on PMR Records. Along with the single collaborations, 'Settle' will also feature vocals from Ed Mac, Jessie Ware & Jamie Woon, all of whom will no doubt bring something special to the table. Calvin Harris announces third album title & collaborations

Following a string of hit singles over the past 12 months, Calvin Harris has tonight announced that his third album will be called '18 Months' and features guest appearances from Kelis, Rihanna, Example, Nicky Romero, Ellie Goulding, Tinie Tempah, Florence, Dizzee Rascal, Ne-Yo, Ayah Marar and Dillon Francis. As you can see from the collaborations, the album will be a who's who of Electronic Pop music at the minute, with Calvin's signature big room Electro-House sound bringing the project together. October 29th is the release date.

Album sales lowest in 12 years

During an age where digital downloading and online piracy is at its peak, it's no real surprise that album sales are the lowest in 12 years. Music Week have announced today that week-on-week average album sales this year are a mere 1,446,218, which sees a 27.62% drop and is the lowest since the new millennium. However, there is still some hope, as many artists are now focusing on shifting singles, which has seen those sales steadily rise in comparison to last year.

Incognito release 15th studio album 'Surreal' on iTunes

Legendary UK Soul/House group Incognito have today released their 15th studio album 'Surreal' on iTunes, through the brilliant Dome Records. The album comes some 31 years after the release of their debut LP 'Jazz Funk' in 1981, but they still have as much passion as they did then back then for creating beautiful music that is relevant to today and has that old skool edge to it. NaS' tenth studio album is finished

NaSir Jones took to his Twitter yesterday to announce that his highly anticipated tenth studio album is completed, putting the ball in Def Jam's court and hopefully meaning we will hear it sometime this year. The news that tentatively titled 'Life Is Good' is ready to be released is music to every Hip-Hop fans ears, and will be his first solo LP since the controversial 'Untitled' in 2008 - if 'Nasty' and his recent features are anything to go by, then this is going to special. Nasty, kid.

Ed Sheeran denies Adele's 21 the top spot on first anniversary

Ed Sheeran has today toppled Adele's 21 to return to the top of the official album chart this week with his triple platinum debut release +, after climbing one place to the summit. '+' became the fastest selling digital debut album in chart history when it was released in September 2011, and became one of the biggest selling albums of 2011.  The album has amassed unit sales of nearly 881,000 since release.

Maverick Sabre - Lonely Are The Brave (Album Sampler)

After following Maverick Sabre closely for the past two years, it's safe to say I'm been rather excited to hear his debut album, which is set to be released on February 6th 2012. Well, now we are one step closer to the release of that album with this sampler that Maverick uploaded to his YouTube channel earlier today. From what I've heard, it reminds me of Plan B's sophmore album (The Defamation of Strickland Banks) but with a lot more soul and heart, which can only be a good thing. Actually can't wait for this.
