Newton Faulkner, one of the most talented musicians in the UK, is set to release his fourth album later this year (August 26th). As well as naming the album 'Studio Zoo', Newton has teamed up with his label Sony Music for a special never before done project, which will see the whole recording process televised online for all of his adoring fans to watch, 24/7. Singer/songwriter Newton Faulkner dropped into the Maida Vale studios today to perform a live lounge session for Fearne Cotton and the BBC Radio 1 listeners. During the session he did his latest single, and a simply stunning cover of Maroon 5's latest single 'Payphone'. Miles and miles ahead of the original (never realised how good the lyrics were until hearing this).

Newton Faulkner - Bricks

'Bricks' is my favourite track from Newton Faulkner's newly released 4-track EP 'Sketches', which is the first release since his sophmore album 'Rebuilt By Humans' in 2009. That album kind of passed me by, but his debut 'Hand Built By Robots' is a modern day classic, and this has me extremely excited for his forthcoming third studio album 'Write It On Your Skin', which is set for release later this year.
