Gorgon City and Laura Welsh perform a beautiful stripped version of 'Here For You' for VEVO Lift UK. Excited to see what Gorgon City's live show has to offer this Summer.
With the release of his sophmore album less than a week away now Ed Sheeran has added further excitement to the ever building hype surrounding it by revealing yet another song from the highly anticipated LP's tracklist. Entitled 'Bloodstream' the track is a far departure from the album's upbeat lead single 'Sing' and instead takes the form of a brooding guitar led tale as Ed once again uses music to chart his battle with his own demons. The result, inevitably, is beautiful.
Premiered yesterday, the Blonde boys are at it again, this time collaborating with up-and-coming London vocalist Charli Taft on bouncing new track 'Higher Ground', which sees the lads channel the same infectious electronic sound that has won them so many plaudits so far and will be available to download from August 10th. Bristol killing it in 2014.
Premiered by Zane Lowe earlier this evening, 'Tough Love' is the brand new single from Jessie Ware and the first taster of her forthcoming second album. The unflashy track, which was produced entirely by New York based producer BenZel, showcases the full extent of Ware' vocal abilities and is the perfect reminder of the kind of sound that made her 2012 debut so special. More of the same please Jessie.
Premiered by Annie Mac last Friday night, here is the official second single from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter MNEK. Everytime I look at MNEK's song-writing credits to date I'm amazed at the sheer diversity of the music he makes. While both 'Every Little Word' and 'Wrote A Song About You' have clearly been written as commercial pop songs, something tells me as more of his debut album continues to be revealed we'll find a few surprises in there too. Regardless of genre, once again the quality of songwriting is undeniable.
Produced by Snakehips, here is the new single from Sinead Harnett, which is taken from her forthcoming debut EP 'N.O.W'. Sinead's feature on Disclosure's breakthrough 'Boiling' is one of the most glorious pieces of music from the past few years, but none of her solo work has since lived up to that, until now. This is stunning, and I can't wait to hear more.
