Produced by Snakehips, here is the new single from Sinead Harnett, which is taken from her forthcoming debut EP 'N.O.W'. Sinead's feature on Disclosure's breakthrough 'Boiling' is one of the most glorious pieces of music from the past few years, but none of her solo work has since lived up to that, until now. This is stunning, and I can't wait to hear more.
Originally released as an instrumental edit, 19-year-old Oliver Heldens' Deep House smash 'Gecko' has already become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. Now a commercial edit of the track is being released by new dance imprinint FFRR with added vocals from Becky Hill. Written and recorded during a late night recording session with MNEK, the track was originally meant for another artist but Becky's incredible chrous was deemed to good to turn down and with good reason. Listen below to hear what might just well be the first BIG hit of summer 2014.
'If I Go' is the second single to be taken from, Brit winning vocalist, Ella Eyre's forthcoming and, as of yet, untitled debut album. You may also remember Ella from the beginning of the year, when she was named as runner up in the BBC's Sound of 2014 poll. Listen to this and you'll see why. The girl's voice is fire.
Announced as Zane Lowe's hottest record just hours ago, Mancunain singer-songwriter Bipolar Sunshine today shared with the world his latest single 'Deckchairs On The Moon', which is a typically ethereal piece of electronic pop music and will be available to download from July 7th. It's difficult not to love everything this man is putting out at the moment and this no exception, check it out after the jump.
Produced and co-produced by Eddie Jenkins, here is the new one from upcoming Bedford-based singer/songwriter Daniela Facchiano. A great look, sound (bit of old Lily in parts) and vibe - definitely a name to keep an eye out for.
Cool, sexy and talented - those are just three of the words I would use to describe the wonderful Caitlyn Scarlett, who I was introduced to last night thanks to Sofar Sounds x SME in Hackney, where she played alongside Context and George The Poet. Check out Caitlyn's debut EP below, and keep an eye out for this name in the coming months...
