Rahsaan Patterson - Miss You x Makin' Love

For those of you who have known about this man for a while, you will have watched Rahsaan Patterson grow from the skinny, wide-eyed boy on the classic children’s show Kids Incorporated to one of the most influential soul men on the planet. During this colorful journey, Rahsaan has written songs for and collaborated with Brandy, Van Hunt, Ledisi and Lalah Hathaway; as well as releasing his own critically acclaimed albums and performing to loyal, ecstatic audiences worldwide. I honestly had no idea the new album was so close, but when this dropped in my inbox, I was nothing short of ecstatic. He is one of my favourite soul singers of the past 5 years, and this album has made me realise why - one of the most stunning releases of the year so far.

This guy is one of my favourite male R&B artist's - After Hours is a classic that everyone should have in their collection. A funky bassline, and a soothing vocal = winning.
