I Self Devine - Living Under Siege (Feat. Nate Collis & Brother Ali)

'Living Under Siege' is my favourite track from I Self Devine's first solo album in seven years, 'The Sound Of A Low Class Amerika', which features Nate Collins and fellow Rhymesayers repping Brother Ali. Dope production throughout, coupled with hard-hitting topics and top class lyrics. This is everything a Hip-Hop album should be.

Brother Ali - Years

My favourite track from Rhymesayers' very own Brother Ali's new 7-track freEP, 'The Bite Marked Heart'. The EP features Phonte, Stokley Williams, Nikki Jean and Aby Wolf, with the production being handled by Jake One and Ant. Ali is currently putting the finishing touches on his 6th studio album Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color. One of the most under-rated MC's of all-time, consistently releasing flawless music.

Grieves - Heartbreak Hotel x Bloody Poetry

Two of my favourite joints from Together/Apart, which is the Rhymesayers debut album from Grieves. He has teamed up with longtime friend and producer Budo to create an album infused with soulful horns, keys and guitar. Lyrically the album encompasses both the difficulties and joys of maintaining his professional and personal relationships on the road and back at home. Super dope.

Brother Ali - Don't Look At Me, Look Around

Brother Ali is a blind, albino, Muslim. Also one of my favourite Rappers.

He’s signed on to be part of the upcoming “Takin’ It To The Streets,” a (predominantely) Muslim music festival in Chicago next week. He just released this new track, “Don’t Look At Me, Look Around,” featuring Medium Zach, to promote his performance. Other names on tap for the festival are Mos Def, Tinariwen, Malika Zarra, and The Reminders.
