Eric Turner - Style Changer (Feat. Kardinal Offishall, Wretch 32 & Professor Green) (Prod. Ishi)

Two Eric Turner posts back-to-back?! Why the hell not. Premiered tonight on Mistajam's show, here is the lead single and title track from Eric Turner's forthcoming mixtape - a man who many of you will know from Tinie Tempah's hit single 'Written In The Stars'. Having been mostly a feature artist up until now, it seems as though 2012 is the year that the American singer/songwriter is going to show us what he has to offer the world. A stellar line-up, and a massive track that will not disappoint.

The House Of Coxhead: Top 100 Songs of 2011

After bringing you the Top 100 Remixes of 2011 on Christmas Eve, here is my Top 100 Songs of 2011. Whereas the majority of the tracks on the remixes list were from an Electronic genre, this list covers a much wider range of music, including Funk, Soul, Hip-Hop, Folk, Alt Rock, Pop, Grime and more. There will be a distinct lack of songs from Rock/Indie artists, but for those people who follow my blog closely, you will already know that this isn't something that I cover on regular basis anyway. 2011 has been a simply mind-blowing year for music, and putting this list together became a much more difficult task than first planned, because I had to get down to an eclectically selected list of 100 tracks from a 8,500 song playlist. As with the remixes list there will be a few selections that you would/wouldn't have in your list (or higher than I have them), but for me this covers everything positive that has been released in 2011 and the incredibly wide diversity in sound. Hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed putting it together over the past 3 months, see you all in 2012 and thank you for your continued support. Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to me (for New Year's Eve)!

Korn - Bleeding Out (Feat. Feed Me)

Produced by Mau5trap signee Feed Me, here is my favourite track from Korn's highly anticipated 10th studio album, The Path Of Totality. Infusing Dubstep anarchy into their signature sound, the legendary quartet stand on the cusp of a musical revolution for both Hard Rock and Electronica. Collaborating with Dubstep many of the heavyweight Dubstep producers, including Skrillex, Excision, Downlink, Noisia & 12th Planet, Korn have constructed a hypnotic hybrid of Dubstep and Metal. The album will be available to buy December 6th on Roadrunner - pre-order HERE.

Random Impulse - Put It On My Card (Remix) (Feat. Ed Sheeran, Dot Rotten & Bluey Robinson)

Ed Sheeran, Dot Rotten & Bluey Robinson all feature on my favourite track from Random Impulse's new EP, No Sleep For Winners, which was released on iTunes today. On A Roll has rightfully been getting support from all corners over the past few weeks, and hopefully this EP is going to open lots of doors for one of the most talented unsigned artists in the UK right now. Pick up your copy HERE - debut album on the way...

Snow Patrol - Lifening

My favourite track from Snow Patrol's highly anticipated sixth studio album, Fallen Empires, which is set to be released on November 14th. A simply stunning piece of music from an album that a lot of heart and passion has clearly gone into over the past three years. Pre-order your copy HERE.

"This is all I ever wanted from life..."

Gym Class Heroes - Solo Discotheque (Whiskey Bitness)

After some time away from the band perusing a solo career, Travie McCoy is back at work with the Gym Class Heroes as they ready the release of their fourth studio album and their first album in three years. Below is my favourite track from a rather underwhelming listen. Out November 15th in America and January 30th (2012) in the UK - work that one out?! Anyway, pre-order HERE.

Coldplay - Us Against The World

Here is my favourite track from Coldplay's upcoming fifth studio album, Mylo Xyloto, which is set for release on October 24th. As you can tell from the first two singles, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall & Paradise, the album is a whole new direction for the group, with Chris Martin explaining: "it's inspired by old school American Graffiti, the White Rose Movement and The Wire. However, this song reminds me of the the older Coldplay work and wouldn't sound out of place on Parachutes. I can't stop listening to it. Pre-order the album HERE.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich - Pick Up Truck (Kings Of Leon Cover)

Benjamin Francis Leftwich took to his offical site yesterday and let go of a five track freEP, which contains five covers of songs that mean a lot to him - he explains:

"As you may know I am a fan of covering songs by artists I love. If you have come to see me on any of my October tour dates you will have seen and heard I have been playing ‘Atlantic City’ by Bruce Springsteen, a song I think is amazing by an artist I very much look up to. So, I have put together a little EP with my take on 5 songs I am really fond of."

Below is my favourite cover, which is a stripped back interpretation of the closing track on the Kings Of Leon's 2010 release, Come Around Sundown. All you need to do to get the EP is go HERE, fill in your details and then download for free. So much talent.

Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun - Roses (Feat. Freeway) x Feel Me (Feat. Rock of Heltah Skeltah & Bun B)

Here are my two favourite joints from Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun's upcoming collaborative album, Monumental, which will be available to download on June 28th. Pete has provided the entire production for the album, as well as vocals on several key tracks, including the title track itself. These two feature ex-Rocafella signee Freeway, Rock of Heltah Skeltah and Hip-Hop legend Bun B - on top of the singles/leaks, this gives you on idea of what you can expect from the rest of the release. Guaranteed to be one of the best Hip-Hop albums of the year.
