Fresh Out The Box - May 17th, Shoreditch

To celebrate 25 years of street culture, May 17th sees Boxfresh host a cool event in Shoreditch, with Fatima & The Eglo Live Band, Lil Silva and Swindle all set to perform. For just £5, this will be a beautiful night, with sounds and influences from all around the world - get your tickets HERE.

Press Release:

Heading up the bill is velvet toned Fatima & The Eglo Live Band, a woman whose list of collaborators read like a who's who of the most credible producers of the last 10 years. With her highly anticipated debut album "Yellow Memories" on the way, this is set to be a very unique performance right on the cusp of her big year.

Working on original material and collaborations with help from Sampha, Jamie Woon and BANKS to name but a few, and with a new EP dropping imminently, Lil Silva will take his melody-writing talent into the club context and beyond.

In 2013, Swindle released his debut full-length album ‘Long Live The Jazz’ on Deep Medi, a 13-track journey through one of dance music’s most creative minds. Not only a marvellous producer, but an exceptional musician - and someone we just HAD to invite down to join us.

Mo Kolours is a half-Mauritian, half-English producer, singer and percussionist. On his self-titled debut album he displays dazzling inventiveness and joyous spirit, and after catching his Boiler Room earlier in the year, it was time we saw the man in action for ourselves.

Supporting the bill we have South Londons Coby Sey, an inexplicably talented young producer and musician who we are delighted to have with us to round of this very special evening of music.
