'Child Of The Ghetto' is a touching and soulful joint, which has beautiful lyrics and has captured the hearts of many over the past few months. It's hard to put a label on this Dutch producer and that's definitely part of the reason I enjoy his music. The producer himself chose to tag '986' with 'Bass' '2-Step' & 'Future Beats' and you can hear why as you hear the subtle bongo patterns, intricate snares and gelatinous synth bass come together in perfect harmony. In stark contrast to this is '993' - the laid back and atmospheric production is something that I can definitely see myself cruising down the M1 to, grinning, head nodding and shoulders bouncing. I'm almost overexcited for 'Outputs 3' popping up here on the 27th. You can pre-order now.

Birmingham-based producer Preditah takes Donae'o's new single "Big Ben" and runs down a old-skool garage route with it, employing Mz. Bratt and Scrufizzer on the verses. The original was great, and the addition of these two going in on a brilliantly produced beat proves to be a masterstroke. Due out on the 24th of April, this is yet another smash to add to Donae'o's frighteningly consistent back-catalogue.

DJ Q has only gone and done it again. That's all I have to say really. It would be easy to paraphrase what I said in the blog post about his earlier releases 'Brandy & Coke' and 'JD & Coke' but you're better off just listening to be honest. The supreme vocal talents of promising singer Sinead Harnett ensure this production is a genuinely pleasing aural experience. Hiya old school garage....nice to have you back mate.
