Huxley - Let It Go

Huxley (AKA Michael Dodman) was brought up on a diet of purely UK and US Garage. He's honed his musical knowledge into an absolute talent to create deep, dark House music. Swimming around the house scene for the past two years, Huxley is coming to the forefront in the UK's current House music flare, mastering music across the genre of House, while also dabbling in Garage. Check out this incredible tune, titled 'Let It Go', after the jump. Get your copy, along with the Eats Everything remix HERE.

Antwon - Helicopter (Video)

Released on the 21st of Feb and creating just a tad of slight HYSTERIA with his laid back style and killer tunes, Antwon has released this track from his Fantasy Beds Mixtape: Helicopter. This guy is going to be huge. We defy you not to enjoy this tune after your first listen. These big beats are also accompanied by one of the best videos we've seen in a long time. Watch the video after the jump.

Planet Asia - Grown Folks Talkin' (Feat. Talib Kweli) x No Apologies (Feat. Raekwon)

Hip-Hop old-timer Planet Asia hooks up with two fellow legends for my favourite tracks from his latest studio album 'Black Belt Theatre', which drops tomorrow on Green Streets Ent. Asia explained in a recent interview: "I got the concept for Black Belt Theatre not only from martial arts, but from being a Black man, of course, so I’m thinking ‘Black Belt’ and, like in Utah how they have the Bible Belt area, I was thinking like that, like Black Belt areas. That’s really what the core essence of what Black Belt Theatre was really about. It’s basically a little black continent mixed with a little bit of Blaxploitation and martial arts". Cool concept, cool album.

High Contrast - Wish You Were Here (Feat. Selah Corbin)

My favourite track from High Contrast's brand new album 'The Agony & The Ecstasy', which was released today on Hospital Records. 'Wish You Were Here' once again features the enchanting vocals of Selah Corbin, who appears on two other tracks, including the second single/title track. This opitimises everything I love about High Contrast's music, but the album as a whole is a rather underwhelming listen, with a few glimpses of genius - be sure to check out 'Father, Can't You See I'm Burning?' & 'All There Is'. Plan B - Ill Manors

Premiered just moments ago as Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record In The World', here is the lead single from Plan B's forthcoming film/fourth studio album 'Ill Manors', which will be Ben Drew's debut as a film director. The film has been described as a "Hip-Hop Musical" and all songs will be performed by Plan B, with the script being based on actual events, such as Drew's home being raided by armed police and a girl prostituting herself to repay a drug dealer. The film is out May 4th, and the album will be out May 7th. Sick.

The Bullitts - Supercool (True Tiger Remix)

The Bullitts have been floating around the music world for a short while now, creating amazing tunes, such as 'Landspeeder', which was Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record in the world' in May 2011. They are continuing to create amazing music, which is being recognised across the board. Most recently, True Tiger, a level of production genius, have taken a shine to their track 'Supercool'. Check it out after the jump.

Soul Clap - Take It Slow (Feat. Franceska) x Need Your Lovin (Feat. Mel Blatt)

Eli Goldstein & Charlie Levine, better known as Soul Clap, are finally set to release their highly anticipated debut album on April 20th, after they shot into the spotlight back in 2010. However, the Boston duo have been at it for years, throwing parties around their home town, most notably a Wednesday night series called Midweek Techno, which hosted dozens of DJs from around the world at an Irish pub in Cambridge. Below are two of my favourite pieces from the 13 track LP, which is full of unreleased material that is completely different to anything they’d usually put on their EPs. As they explain: "we wanted it to be something we would have put on in high school while we were chilling with homies, cutting class, or trying to kick it to a chick". Slow and sexy wins the race.
