Ed Sheeran - + (3x Platinum) x Snow Patrol Support

Ed Sheeran took to his Twitter earlier today to announce that his debut album '+' has gone 3x platinum in the UK, selling over 900,000 copies. The young singer/songwriter has also revealed that he'll be playing a homecoming gig @ Thetford Forest in Suffolk on July 12th and is confirmed to be the main support act for Snow Patrol's US tour in March-April. The tickets for the Suffolk gig go on sale 9am this Friday and all of the dates for the Snow Patrol tour can be found HERE. The future's bright...

Jay-Z - Glory (Feat. Blue Ivy Carter & Pharrell) (Prod. Pharrell)

Produced by long-term friend/collaborator Pharrell, here is a new track from Jay-Z paying tribute to the little girl he and Beyoncé welcomed into the world on Saturday night in NYC. The song even features a few vocals from Blue Ivy Carter herself. Genius, moving.

A very well put together video for the title track from Eli Escobar's forthcoming EP, which is set to be released January 24th on Dither Down. Work that body.

Common - Stay Schemin' (Drake Diss)

Things have just heated up between Common & Drake, with the Chicago-born legend adding a diss verse to the Drake-featuring track from Rick Ross' latest mixtape. There's only gonna be one winner here; "Make no mistakes, I'm talkin bout Drake..."

Krakota - Scraper

Here is my favourite track from Krakota's forthcoming EP, which is the latest from the ever brilliant Ingredients label and will be available to purchase on January 23rd. This is the first solo 12" release from the 21 year old, who has been deeply involved with music since a very early age - if this is anything to go by, Krakota is a name to look out for in 2012. Screw face.

Project Alfie - Beggin' (Video)

Some sick visuals for the latest release from Project Alfie - the track was featured on the Universal Compilation R&B Collection 2012, which marked him as the only unsigned act to be featured on the album. Following its release, it became the most downloaded track on the album during its first week on iTunes. His Hip-Hop re-works EP was a superb little taster of what he has to offer, but this track sees the London-born singer/songwriter move in the right direction and provide us with a refreshingly cool laid back piece of Soul music. One of the most exciting new artists around right now.

Hospitality - Brixton Academy (6th April 2012)

Hospitality returns to Brixton Academy on April 6th 2012. The line-up is still to be confirmed, but with the early bird tickets already gone, you can expect this event to sell out rather quickly. The last Hospitality night at Brixton had Danny Byrd and London Elektricity warming up for Camo & Krooked's first live show. Don't miss it, get your tickets HERE.

Nova's Basement - Stop Hurting (Video)

Created by Gareth Axford, here are some cool animated visuals for the first single to be taken from Nova's Basement's forthcoming EP, which is set to be released sometime this month. Never heard of the London-based trio before, but this is a lovely track and you can pick up your copy HERE.

Mark Kruse and the ever brilliant Deso Records provide a stunning piece of groovy house to get the dancefloors moving in 2012. One of my favourite tracks of the year so far - those chords are heavenly. Buy HERE.
