Common, one of the greatest MC's of all-time, returns with his latest album 'Let Love', which features Daniel Caesar, Jill Scott, Leon Bridges, BJ Chicago Kid and more. 'Leaders' featuring production from A-Trak reminds me of all-time classic Common, which can only be a good thing... you can imagine this record fitting perfectly onto 'Be'. Time to listen to this on repeat for the next few weeks - buy and stream here.

One of the standout tracks from the first ever G.O.O.D. Music album 'KanYe West Presents: Cruel Summer', which is set to be released next week. Pusha T's verses are the highlight of the album, and nothing is touching 'Clique' still...

French production duo KitSch 2.0 have teamed up with Steph B to create a huge Electro-House remix of Malik Yusef's 2005 single, which features KanYe West, Common & JV and also appeared on the official Coach Carter soundtrack. Never thought this song would ever be fitting for a club full of main room anthems, but that shows how much I know. Cool remix.

Back in 2007, Q-Tip & Common announced that they were to form a super group called The Standard - however nothing came to light, in a similar vein to that of CRS (KanYe, Lupe & Pharrell). However, in a recent interview with NYDN, NaS said that he "definitely" plans on doing an album with Tip & Comm in the future, fuelling speculation that the duo could well become a trio. Kamaal is currently working on his third studio album, and the follow up to 'The Renaissance', while NaS is readying his next LP 'Life Is Good'. We can live in hope.

WOWEE! What a way to kick off Dilla month - the guys over at Doctors Orders have come through with some incredibly rare pictures of Jay Dee & Common working together in the studio on Like Water For Chocolate, which is my favourite Hip-Hop album of all time. The photos were found whilst Pete from BBE records (pictured alongside Dilla below) was moving house. This is Dilla’s first home studio in Detroit and in the pic up top you can see Common sitting with his back to camera. If you love Dilla, be sure to represent at the 'J-Dilla Changed My Life' fundraisers in London, Manchester & Brighton this weekend - I'll be at the Manchester gig. All details are on www.thedoctorsorders.com, and HERE is a Dilla tribute mix by DJ Getz.
