The Game - Mama Knows (Feat. Nelly Furtado) x Martians vs. Goblins (Feat. Tyler, The Creator)

Two of my favourite tracks from The Game's new release, The R.E.D. Album, which is set to be released on August 23rd. On 'Mama Knows',  Mr. Taylor drafts in Nelly Furtado for the singing duties and The Neptunes to take care of the production side of things  - a very good combo. Martians vs. Goblins sees the Compton born rapper team up with Tyler, The Creator to go in over a banging No I.D. & 1500 or Nothin' beat. A good album, but not great, there are too many features and 20 tracks is way too long for my liking.

J Dilla - Rare Live DJ Set from 2003

Spotted over @Will Make Beats For Food, here is a classic DJ set from the one and only J Dilla. I would do anything to go back in time and be there for this - track selection is not even funny. Download below.

Sampha - Indecision

Posted on his SoundCloud yesterday, here is a new track from UK vocalist Sampha, who I was introduced to thanks to SBTRKT who let him front most of the stunning self-titled debut album that was released earlier this year. Genuinely cannot tell you how excited I am by his future after hearing this - expecting huge things. You didn't hear it here first, but you heard it here pretty damn early; remember the name.

Knife Party - Internet Friends

A new tune from Knife Party, which is a side project for Rob & Gareth from Pendulum - their stuff has been getting a lot of love from Annie Mac, and you can see why. This one is a crazy banger with hilarious vocal samples.

India Benet - Valerie (Amy Winehouse Cover)

India Benet, daughter of the legendary Eric Benet, pays tribute to Amy Winehouse by performing an acoustic version of Valerie in her bedroom. She is stunning, and has clearly inherited some of her dad's talent when it comes to singing side of things. A great cover, even with crazy Curtis dancing around for the entire video. Looking forward to hearing some of her own material.

iamcoxhead - Just 4 U

Here is a new mix and probably my final one for the Summer seeing as though there are only 15 days left - how depressing! Minus a few groovy vocal tracks in the middle section, this is a lot more upbeat/techy and commerically friendly than my usual mixes - you should know a lots of tracks in this one. Thanks again for all your continued support, reaching 250,000 hits on Sunday was madness. Had to upload it to Hulkshare because my SoundCloud account is full, but it still does the same job. Hope you all enjoy this, and enjoy the last of the summer rain.

@LoukiaC on the cover, btw - probably my favourite to date.

1. Ambito - Malagueña Salerosa
2. Alex Kenji & Federico Scavo - Just 4 You
3. Bingo Players vs Chocolate Puma - Disco Electrique (Vocal Mix)
4. Kidda - Wanna Be Loved (Stupid Fresh Remix)
5. Gramophonedzie - Yeah, Yeah
6. Bo Moore - Love, Joy and Happiness (Bo's Main Vox) (Feat. Kavon Brown)
7. Roy Ayers & Kerri Chandler - Good Vibrations (Kerri's Mad Mix)
8. Dirty Culture - Gotta Get You Out Of My Head
9. James Blake - Limit To Your Love (Craig Williams Remix)
10. Adele vs. Joris Voorn - Rolling In The Deep Incident (Tamer Malki Booty Edit)
11. The Superman Lovers - Starlight (Luca Agnelli Sax Mix)

Ed Sheeran & Kal Lavelle Live @ Mad Ferret (Photos by Emily Coxhead)

Whilst down at the Mad Ferret gig in Preston a couple of weeks ago, my sister took her camera to get some shots of Ed & Kal. She has now edited the photos, and I think the results are brilliant - having such a small intimate venue with very little lighting creates the opportunity to capture moments like this. Above is my favourite, but you can check out the whole set HERE, and follow Emily on Twitter HERE.

Kraak & Smaak - Let's Go Back (Feat. Romanthony) (K&S Leiden To Detroit Mix)

An alternative K&S Deep House rework of Kraak & Smaak's new single, Let's Go Back, which features the vocals of legendary electronic producer and singer Romanthony. This is a free download, but the rest of the EP went on sale today, and you can get a copy HERE! (I prefer this to all the other remixes and the original, but shush, don't tell anyone)

Ed Sheeran - You Need Me, I Don't Need You (True Tiger Remix) (Feat. Scrufizzer & Dot Rotten)

Here is the True Tiger remix of Ed Sheeran's new single, which has just been given its world premiere on Mistajam's 1Xtra show. Ed told me that he had hooked up with the True Tiger boys again and drafted in two Grime heavyweights in Scru & Dot for another monstrous remix that was as good as (if not better than) the one that Devlin & Wretch brought to the table - both are massive. Check it out below, along with a little chat Jam had with Ed about 3 tracks that inspired him to start writing music. Pre-Order the single HERE!

Example & Laidback Luke - Natural Disaster (Skream Remix)

After the original of this track bizarrely got its premiere on a Spanish radio station last month, the same wasn't going to happen with the Skream remix, which got its first play on Mistajam's show last night. A proper screw face Dubstep rework that was dropped exclusively in Skream & Benga's Ibiza Essential Mix. Out soon on Ministry Of Sound. BIG!
