Treasure Fingers - It's Love (Amtrac Remix)

Here is a groovy rework of Treasure Fingers' 2010 jam courtesy of Kentucky born and Miami based House producer, Amtrac. I have always loved this track, but Amtrac has given it a whole new twist in time for the Summer of 2011. You can download all his stuff for FREE from his SoundCloud. Watch out for this guy in the future.

R.I.P. Bob Marley

Today is the 30th anniversary of Bob Marley's death - we lost one of the greatest musicians to ever grace the earth far too early. Forever missed.

Elzhi - The World Is Yours x It Ain't Hard To Tell

I'm sure many people were sceptical about the ex-Slum Villager taking on one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums of all-time, but I was never in any doubt that this was going to be nothing short of incredible as soon as I had heard 'Detroit State Of Mind'. Elzhi has been one of my favourite MCs for the past 10 years and is lyrically as good as anyone, and I really do mean anyone. The way that him and producer Will Sessions have gone about making this mixtape is flawless - without changing a great deal they have created the perfect tribute to one of the best albums and rappers we have ever heard. This will be the best mixtape of 2011, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is better than any Hip-Hop you will hear this year. Download HERE. Elzhi the greatest.

KanYe West Live @ Coachella

Many people believe that KanYe's performance at Coachella was his greatest of all-time. For me I'm not sure anything will ever beat Jay joining him twice and the Manchester Apollo gig when College Dropout had just been released, but this was absolutely incredible, and you can download the MP3s HERE. A must for any KanYe fan. I still love him.

Mystro - Dreamin'

A nice little free download from my favourite UK MC, Digmund Freud, better known as Mystro. I'll let the man himself explain the track:

"Something i did over the Lupe 'Beamin' instrumental. i was feeling kinda down after finding out a few old friends had passed away & it made me think about how encouraging they were 2 the people around them. Always helping others 2 live out their dreams.... i started 2 wonder what would it be like if any dream could come true & this poured out the pen & splashed on 2 the pad........i hope u mutha luvaz enjoy."

Download HERE. Mystrogen is on its way.

Edo G - Speak Ur Mind (Feat. M-1)

Here is the second track to drop off Edo's upcoming album, A Face In The Crowd, which will be released on May 17th. This one is produced by Statik Selektah and is just as good as the first single that was produced by Preemo. Could very well be the Hip-Hop album of the year if this is anything to go by. Beautiful.

Flux Pavillion - Get 2 Know (VIP Mix)

The original and a snippet of the VIP mix of this have been around for quite a while, but here is the final/full length version that Flux plays in his sets. Still a massive tune (wait for the switch up @ 3:52).

Emalkay - Flesh & Bone (Feat. Rod Azlan) x True Romance

Birmingham born Dubstep producer Emalkay released his highly anticipated debut album today, entitled Eclipse. After blowing up in 2009 he has never looked back and thankfully hasn't strayed away from his incredibly unique sound that has made him so popular on the underground scene over the past few years. This album is a showcase of what Emalkay is all about, and the two tracks below are the ones that stood out for me after a couple of listens. BIG release.

Mr Brady & Sha Dula – Something You Can Feel (Feat. Moka Only)

My favourite track from the collaborative EP from Mr Brady & Sha Dula, which is produced by French producer Terem. Reminds me of Little Brother in their prime. Get your copy HERE.

Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - The World & Season's Trees

After 5 years in the making, here are two of my favourite tracks off the collaborative release from American producer Danger Mouse and Italian composer/arranger Daniele Luppi. United in their shared passion for classic Italian film music, Burton and Luppi have created a record like no other - they made a concious effort to replicate the recording practices of the 1960s/70s golden age, recording live to tape, with no electronics, computers or 21st-century effects. A simply stunning piece of music that you should probably buy.
