Here is DC Breaks’ stunning debut release having recently switched over to RAM from their sister label, Frequency. This sees the duo at their euphoric best with soft percussions, melodic strings, infectious vocals, the whole grounded by a deep bassline. Out 25th April.

She has always had a unique production style/approach to making music, but I think she has found her sound with this new single, Fuckabout. Here is Miss Erykah Badu’s spectacular performance from the main stage @ Coachella yesterday. She is my favourite female artist by such a long way, and this proves exactly way. Her vibrant personality always shines through when she performs. Love love love.

Earlier today we got the video for Jill Scott’s lead single from the upcoming album, The Light Of The Sun. Now she has dropped the next single, which features the flawless Anthony Hamilton, and it’s absolute perfection. Soul music at its very best. This album could be a classic.

Here are two of my favourite joints off Cam’Ron & and his protégée Vado’s collaborative album Gunz & Butta, which has been in the works for over a year now. Filled with skill and bravado, this is the Hip-Hop union of the year. This gives you an idea of what you can expect - some smooth, some bangers.

My two favourite tracks from Dutch duo Mason’s debut LP, They Are Amongst Us. The first features UK rapper Sway going in over an incredibly funky rhythm and the second sees the legendary Kurtis Blow being his usual brilliant self. This is infectious pop dance mixed with a bit of disco and is one of the most enjoyable albums I’ve listened to this year. Fun, fun, fun.
