A cut from Lupe’s latest album, Lasers, which features the ever brilliant Kenna. I personally think this is better than half of the album. Big tune.

Last week I downloaded a track called Lovesick by newcomer Mariella; I liked it, however this week a remix by Mark de Clive-Lowe has surfaced putting a whole new twist on the song. Soulful house at its very best. Time for a quick 2-step.

Here is the lead single from soul singer Heston’s upcoming album, Warm Human Cold World. The live instrumentation gives this track just the kick that it needs - beautiful music.

Jack Beats’ new single, which will be released April 24th on Cheap Thrills. This is easily one of the biggest tracks of 2011 so far. You can also hear Skream’s monstrous remix HERE. BOUNCE!!!

A new track from the late Teddy Pendergrass, which was recorded back in 2006. This guy was one of the best soul singers to walk the earth. Legend.

A lovely uplifting electro tune from Go Go Bizkitt! Not really my kind of thing usually, but I like it, lots.

After hearing this towards the end of last year, I had a feeling that it was going to be pretty spectacular when finished - I was right. Having now seen it live twice and having heard the final version, I think it’s safe to say that CTYKM has all the right ingredients to be the song of Summer 2011, in the same way that Kickstarts was last year. Oh, and the 3rd album is going to be called ‘Playing In The Shadows’. Proud, as always.
