Rich And Black X Masters Of Our Fate

Two of my favourite joints from Raekwon’s upcoming 5th solo album, Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang. First up is Rich And Black, which features fellow Hip-Hop legend NaS, and is an absolute monster - Sean C & L went crazy on the beat. The second track is Masters Of Our Fate, which has a much more laid back vibe and features Roots member Black Thought. Everything about this album screams classic and is guaranteed to be one of the best Hip-Hop albums of 2011. Make sure you get your copy on March 8th. Wu-Tang forever baby.

Freebasin'

A new one from Rapper Big Pooh, which features the lovely Carlitta Durand. Nice to see them both doing their thing still, and doing it VERY well. Always been huge supporters of them both since day one, and will continue to be if they keep producing music like this. LB4L.

One

One of my favourite tracks from Nu:Tone’s upcoming 3rd studio album, Words & Pictures, which will be released tomorrow on Hospital Records. This beauty features female vocalist Sophie Paul, and is everything that I love about this genre. Early contender for best D&B album of 2011.

The Air That I Breathe

My favourite track from Alexis Jordan’s self-titled upcoming debut album, which is produced solely by Norwegian production team Stargate. This is just Alexis and a guitar, showing off her vocal talents to the fullest. A very commercially friendly album, but pretty nice.

Who You Are X Mamma Knows Best

Here are my two favourite tracks from Jessie J’s debut album, Who You Are. Granted they were both written years ago and there have been different versions floating around the internet for ages, but they have been re-produced/re-vocalled and made into simply stunning pieces of music. I’m also glad she has used the live version of Big White Room, because vocally it’s one of the best performances you will ever hear. Unfortunately some of the songs on the record sound very similar, but on the whole it’s a huge album, I will be listening to it a lot and will break a ridiculous amount of records when it’s released over here on Sunday. Her talent alone deserves all of the success that this is going to get.
