I Want You To Stay

My favourite track from Marsha Ambrosius’ spectacular upcoming debut album, Late Nights & Early Mornings. It will be released on March 1st, but for you now you can enjoy this beautiful piano driven balled, which is produced by Marsha herself. She is one of the most talented women in music. This is the best album I’ve heard this year and will be one of the best R&B albums of 2011.

Freedom

Wasn’t expecting much from the Clare Maguire album, because I’m not a massive fan, but this song is brilliant. Not really feeling the production/general feel of the whole album, but I can appreciate why people love her music.

Guilt

Nero’s new single was premiered on Zane Lowe’s show last night as The Hottest Record In The World. You can see why, because this is an absolute fucking monster. Welcome Reality will be one of the best albums of 2011 - simple as that.

Gimme Dat

I’ve never been a massive fan of Ciara’s music, and as Femme En Fourrure explain, they “weren’t really fans of the vocals and arrangement of the original” so decided to cut all the vocals and do a massive bass driven bootleg. This would get any dancefloor shaking.

The Morning Sun

My favourite track from Beady Eye’s debut album, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’, which will be available on February 28th. The band was formed in 2009 by former members of Oasis, following the exit of songwriter Noel Gallagher. Noel was always the talented one, Liam was always the clown of the group, and this shows in certain parts on the album. Okay, but not great.
