Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 9:20AM As part of his Biz session for The Sun, Ed Sheeran decided to cover Skinny Love by Bon Iver, which was recently made commercially well-known by Birdy. I know Ed has been a Bon Iver fan for years, so this cover will have meant a lot, and I think it's safe to say that he did it justice (as always). Watch the rest of the session, HERE. A-Team is out in 3 days. Download the MP3 of Skinny Love HERE.

Yesterday saw the release of Kal Lavelle's brilliant EP, Shivers, which some of you may have been lucky enough to get hold of whilst she was supporting Ed Sheeran on his most recent tour. I was lucky enough to spend a bit of time with her during that tour, and I can safely say that she as lovely as she is talented - this is a simply beautiful 5 track release. Below you can hear my favourite song from the EP and get your copy HERE.

Following on from his session for Zane Lowe the other night, Ed Sheeran dropped into the Manchester based XFM studio to perform 5 tracks; including A-Team, UNI, Wake Me Up, Wayfaring Stranger & You Need Me. As Ed said himself, it's refreshing for a radio station to let him perform a small set, rather than squashing him in to a small booth to do just one or two tracks. Below you can hear one of the best performances of You Need Me that he's done, and you can download the entire session HERE. Onwards & upwards.

Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 5:08PM Here is the latest edition in David Stewart's series of covers. This time round he has tackled the exceptional A-Team, which is out in less than a month's time. David had to make it his own, and that is exactly what he did, producing an brilliantly unique twist on what is likely to be one of THE songs of 2011.

Ed Sheeran took time out from his current UK tour to drop into the Maida Vale studios to perform a live session for Zane Lowe and have a rather in-depth chat about things musical; from him upcoming debut album, to the influences he gained through long road trips from Yorkshire to London with his Mum and Dad as a child. Whilst at the famous studios he performed a small snippet of You Need Me, an ever brilliant rendition of his debut single The A-Team and an incredibly unique cover of the theme tune for his favourite TV show, The Wire, which you can hear below. You can also download all 3 MP3s HERE to add to your collection.

Many of you will have heard this a few months ago with the vocals of Ed Sheeran on it, but due to problems with the labels, Mark Hill (the original Artful Dodger) has had to draft in Ed's current support act to re-vocal the track. I didn't think that anyone would be able to do it to the level that Ed did, but Kal's soothing Irish tone sounds perfect over the groovy laid back production. Beautiful stuff.

Friday, May 13, 2011 at 9:30PM The official visuals for Iman's debut single, which was co-written by Ed Sheeran. I love everything about this lady - her voice, the look, her songwriting talents and the unique creativeness, which is clear to see in this video. Look for an interview, coming soon. LOVE.
P.S. How much does the guy look Tinie Tempah?
