The Layabouts dropped the lead single from their forthcoming debut album 'Future Retro' back in February, and now Reel People Music are set to drop a stellar remix package, which comes with versions by Oli Lazarus, Aki Bergen & Daniel Jaze and this stunner from Spiritchaser. Official visuals for the latest single to be lifted from J Dilla's posthumous album 'Rebirth Of Detroit', which was released today and is available HERE. A pretty cool album on the whole and it has that raw Jay Dee feel throughout, but nothing will bring him back and nothing will compare to his work whilst he was here with us. R.I.P. James Yancey.

Following on from the brilliant 'Get Out Of My Head', Redlight this weekend made a special delivery on Annie Mac's show in the form of his new single 'Lost In Your Love'. The track has a similar structure to that of his previous single and is no doubt going to get lots of love on the radio, and should hopefully do well in the charts. Summer-ey vibes.

American Country artist Taylor Swift yesterday uploaded a short clip of her jamming to 'Lego House' with Ed Sheeran during a break from their recent studio session in LA. The track is taken from his quadruple platinum selling debut album '+', which was released this morning in the USA & Canada, and is currently sitting at #1 on both iTunes charts. Bonnaroo on Saturday night saw soul legend D'Angelo take to the stage alongside The Roots frontman Questlove (or ?uestlove if you insist on impossible pronounciations) for the former's first gig in the US for over a decade - but after a string of gigs over here in Europe, he seems as sharp as ever. If you didn't have the luck to be in attendance at the gig, the lovely folks over at Hypetrak have the entire 90 minute set streaming, including a rather wonderful cover of The Beatles' "She Came In Through The Bathroom Window". Just yes.

Guy & Howard, better known as Disclosure, tonight came through with their new mini-mix for Annie Mac, which was packed full of Hip-Hop, Garage & House (and much more) classics, alongside some of their own material. Keep saying that if I was a producer, I would want to make music like these two are, and if I did a mini-mix, it would be guaranteed to sound like this. Disclosure can do no wrong in my eyes, and this is one of the best mini-mixes I've ever heard. Tune, after tune, after tune.
