Fytch & Captain Crunch - Raindrops (Break The Noize Remix)

High-energy dubstep duo Break The Noize add their insane style to one of my favourite releases of 2011, 16 year-old Fytch's Captain Crunch collaboration "Raindrops". The original was a masterpiece, and this is a very nice rework of it - fits in perfectly into Modestep's Daily Dose of Dubstep (from which the audio clip below is ripped). No word on a release date, but hopefully we'll get a high-quality version of this pretty soon.

Sub Focus - Falling Down (xKore Remix)

Tomorrow sees the re-release of Sub Focus' originally freely downloadable single "Falling Down" on Skrillex's OWSLA label - with the package including the VIP mix, the Nick Thayer remix and this monstrous rework from 18 year-old producer xKore. This guy's been smashing everything I've heard from him in recent times, especially so with his recent Buygore release "Full Russian". He's got that drumstep style down to a tee, and its great to see him getting the exposure and plaudits that he so desperately deserves. Too much love for this. Preview below, released tomorrow.

Julian Jordan & TV Noise - Oxford

Julian Jordan may not yet be a name that you're familiar with, but after collaborating with TV Noise and releasing electro house track 'Oxford' on Beatport today. it's one you can be sure to hear a lot more of over the next few months. Jordan just 16 years old, his ability is undeniable and on the basis of this track it looks as though he is yet another name to add to the host of hugely talented young Dutch producers emerging from the Netherlands that are filling up my iPod right now. The track itself is a huge electro house hit which you can purchase HERE, but for now turn up your speakers, sit back and enjoy.

Released this time last week through label Spinnin' Records, today Sander van Doorn & Mayaeni's new track Nothing Inside reached no. 1 on the Beatport top 10. A simple, but brilliant progressive house track van Doorn proves that you don't need to make a big beat club banger to create good house music. NaS announced to headline BBC Radio 1's Hackney Weekend

After Jay-Z was revealed as one of the headline acts last month, fellow Hip-Hop legend NaS has now been announced to top the bill at this years BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in Hackney. NaS joins the likes of Example, Rihanna, Sub Focus, Ed Sheeran, Plan B and many more for the two day event, which will take place on June 23rd/24th. Smashed it.
