Lucky Date - I Want You (Vengeance Remix)

Set to be released May 14th on Big Fish Recordings, here is Vengeance's massive Electro-House remix of the new single from Lucky Date. This guy has such a unique sound and creates the most pulsating basslines I've heard for quite some time. You can also grab his Carly Rae Jepsen remix for free download below.

The Third Degree - Can't Get You Out Of My Head (Smoove Remix)

A couple of years ago, The Third Degree reared their heads by releasing a funky soul-inflected revamp of Duffy's smash hit "Mercy". It was amazing, and the good news is that they're back. Spun during Craig Charles' Funk and Soul show on 6 Music at the weekend, this effort sees them turn their attention to Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" and introduce an entirely fresh element to a pop classic. It would seem as though 2012 is the year of the rework, especially with PNAU's reinterprative Elton John album forthcoming later this year. Presented to you as remixed by Smoove here, this is the perfect record for almost any occasion. No word on a release yet, but my God I hope it gets one. Northern soul for the 21st century. On repeat.

Asa & Stumbleine - Tourniquet (Feat. Shura & CoMa)

Released today via Inspected, here is "Tourniquet", my favourite the simply goregeous collaborative release between producers Asa and Stumbleine entitled Your Secret. The entire EP is a musical journey, and is a perfect representation of both of these guys' styles - the crunching percussive samples of Asa; along with those stunning chord progressions that we've come to expect of Stumbleine's latest records. The delicate whisper-like vocals of Shura and CoMa top the atmosphere off perfectly. One of the releases of the year for me, definitely. Go and grab your copy from Beatport HERE.

Jay-Z vs. The Glitch Mob - 99 Days (Carlos Serrano Mix)

Jay-Z gets his shit flipped -  with the uber-talented Carlos Serrano taking his classic "99 Problems" and injecting it with the beat from The Glitch Mob's "Fortune Days". An extraordinary interpretation of the track, something just a little bit special.

Jay Marks - Let's Feel It

Here is my favourite track from Jay Marks' new EP 'The Angry Badger', which is the latest release on Beatdown. Jackin' House is making a massive comeback in 2012, and tunes like this are the reason why - funky, soulful and impossible not to love. Get your copy HERE.

Both have been floating around for a while now, but will be available together with all of the iconic tracks that used throughout the film. Get your copy of the audio soundtrack HERE.

BoomBaptist x Michael Jackson - Butterflies (ManOnWire Seven Blend)

ManOnWire brings together a BoomBaptist's instrumental and the vocals from Michael Jackson's 'Butterflies', to create the most amazing mash-up you could wish to hear. One of the most-under-rated MJ songs of all-time brought back to life by BoomBaptist's infectious Hip-Hop sound, courtesy of ManOnWire, a man who can do no wrong at the minute.

Joker - Skitta x I Think You Should Know (Feat. Newham Generals)

'Skitta' & 'I Think You Should Know' are the two newly released tracks from Dubstep heavyweight joker, which sees him return as the king of the 'purple sound'. Whereas the Newham Generals didn't really offer anything of any substance on Joker's LP, they sound right at home here over this Grimy head-nodding beat. Both massive tracks - love the synths. Buy HERE.
