Hourglass Sea - Dream Girl

This gem was released into the feral matrix that is soundcloud today. This has an undeniable Hudmo vibe to it but I don't think that takes away from the quality of the production. I love the intermittent flashes of electric guitar and hi-hats especially but I feel the full palette of sounds chosen here work exceptionally well. I hope to hear more from this Bradford based producer as soon as possible.

KOF - Child Of The Ghetto (Video)

Here is the official video for the debut single from Liverpool-born singer/songwriter KOF, which is produced by Empey and is set for release on March 25th. The production is relatively simple, but KOF's story-telling ability and soothing vocal tone bring the track to life. You will also be able to find it on his forthcoming EP 'An Alternative Soul', which drops April 8th. Lots of love for this guy.

Four Tet, Roots Manuva & Lee Scratch Perry to headline Golden Down Festival

Golden Down Festival have recently announced their line-up for this year, which sees Four Tet, Roots Manuva & Lee Scratch Perry headline the Hampshire-based event that is set to take place on 15th-17th June. The event is a brand new festival on the scene and only holds 5,000 people, but with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Julio Bashmore, Ghostpoet & many more big names on the bill, this could well be one of the biggest weekends of the season. Alongside the big names there are also some of the world's most exciting acts in Electronic music, including the incredible Ben UFO, Space Dimension Controller & Pearson Sound. If you're not into big festivals, love good music and don't want to spend too much money, then Golden Down could well be the one for you this Summer. Ed Sheeran is currently on his first ever European tour, and last night played at The Docks in Hamburg - below is a video of his stunning performance of 'Small Bump', which still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time I see him play it live.
