Well Sonny Moore, better known as Skrillex, is one of the hardest working men in music right now, and I (along with many others) believe that he fully deserves the level of recognition that he has received over the past 12 months. The awards he is up for are: Best New Artist, Best Dance Recording, Best Dance/Electronica Album, Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) & Best Short Form Music Form. Two of my favourite tracks from Emeli Sandé's highly anticpated debut album, Our Version Of Events, which is set to be released on February 13th. 'Maybe' is an incredibly heartfelt head-nodding piece of Soul, which sees Emeli reflecting on a broken relationship that she feels could still be saved.
