Dems - House (Rusher Returns Remix)

Many of you will remember Rusher from his time with Example during the What We Made days, but now he is working at Radio 1, and is back with a laid back Dubstep remix for the lead single from Dems' new EP. Love this, and miss his work.

Kidz In The Hall - Make It Up Tonight (Feat. Sulaiman) x I Swear (Feat. Vic Spencer)

Following their 2010 release, Land of Make Believe, Chicago-born duo Kidz In The Hall are back with their 4th studio album, Occasion. The album is all about having fun, which is a concept that works for Naledge & Double-O, and probably makes for their most enjoyable album to date.

The Roots - The Other Side x Lighthouse

Two of my favourite tracks from the first conceptually-based album by The Roots. Undun quickly reaffirms the creativity of the outfit that are notorious for pushing the envelope. Through the use of emotives and Redford’s internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out 'on the corner'. Utilising a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented–postmortem–and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun. You need to listen to this in full, it's a masterpiece, from one of the greatest groups of all-time. Available December 6th.

Amy Winehouse - A Song For You x The Girl From Ipanema

Having brought you the three leaks from Amy Winehouse's first posthumous album, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, here are two of my favourite (unheard) tracks from the album. It was said by all who worked with Amy that she never sang or played a song the same way twice. With this in mind, it quickly became apparent to Salaam and Mark that they had a collection of songs that deserved to be heard, a collection of songs that were a fitting treatment to Amy the artist and, as importantly, Amy the friend. This is a must have album for any Amy (music) fan. Available December 6th.
