During the acoustic performance she did a mash-up of Ed Sheeran's 'Lego House' and 'Old Yellow Bricks' by the Arctic Monkeys - I think it's safe to say she smashed it. Onwards and upwards for one of the most exciting talents to emerge from 2011.

After following Maverick Sabre closely for the past two years, it's safe to say I'm been rather excited to hear his debut album, which is set to be released on February 6th 2012. Well, now we are one step closer to the release of that album with this sampler that Maverick uploaded to his YouTube channel earlier today. From what I've heard, it reminds me of Plan B's sophmore album (The Defamation of Strickland Banks) but with a lot more soul and heart, which can only be a good thing. Actually can't wait for this.

Two Hip-Hop greats team up for this massive track, which will feature on the forthcoming Jonah Hill starring comedy 'The Sitter'. Sounds like The Ruler hasn't fallen back on his level of flow or lyricism, and hopefully this means a new album is on the way - 2012 could be THE ONE.
