J. Cole - Work Out

Sampling KanYe's Workout Plan, here is the brilliant first single off J. Cole's highly anticipated debut album, Cole World, which will be released later this year. This boy is a genius, and a breath of fresh air to the game.

The Weeknd - The Birds (Pt.1)

The first single off The Weeknd's forthcoming new project, Thursday. Not the best piece we've heard from him, but it's as smooth and sexy as ever.

Ledisi - I Gotta Get To You

My favourite track from Ledisi's latest album, Pieces Of Me, which will be available to buy next week. She is one of the only female R&B singers that excites me, and I'm pleased to say that this album didn't disappoint - laid back beats, heart-felt lyrics and beautiful vocals.

Rashaan Patterson - 6am

Spotted over at my main man's blog (PinBoard), here is the new single from Rahsaan Patterson, which is written by and features backing vocals from the ever brilliant Lalah Hathaway. This guy is one of my favourite male R&B artist's - After Hours is a classic that everyone should have in their collection. A funky bassline, and a soothing vocal = winning.

Astro Raph - You & Me x Song For The Gods

Been a while since I've posted some Cold Busted material, but here are two of my favourite tracks from Astro Raph's debut LP on the label, which will be available to buy on July 20th. The two pieces that I have picked show the diversity of Astro and the album itself, switching between Trip-Hop, Drum & Bass and wide variety other electronic genres. Many artists/producers who try to do this usually fail, but everyone on Cold Busted seems to have the ability to be able to create cohesive mult-genre albums. A simply brilliant release.

MANIK (NYC) - Need Your Lovin x Lose My Mind

Here my two favourite tracks from MANIK (NYC)'s debut full-length release, Armies Of Night. The New York City born producer has gained recognition from some of the biggest names with his discography boasting music releases on the world's best underground imprints, like Josh Wink's Ovum, L.A based Culprit, Steve Bug's highly praised Poker Flat, and the almighty Hot Creations- run by Lee Foss and Jamie Jones. It's hard to put MANIK in a specific genre, but Disco, Funk & Acid mixed together is the best I can come up with. Listen to these and make up your own mind - groovy.

CyHi Da Prynce - Woopty Doo (Feat. Big Sean)

Produced by No I.D. & KanYe, here is some new fire from CyHi Da Prynce's upcoming mixtape, Royal Flush 2, which drops tomorrow. So much love for this. Busy few days for the G.O.O.D. Music boys.

KanYe West - Mamas Boyfriend

Here is the long awaited final version of the track that KanYe freestyled at the Facebook HQ last year. Everything about this is epic. I know it probably didn't fit the concept, but I wish that this would have made MBDTF.

Jamiroquai - Smile

Jamiroquai's last album kind of slipped under the radar, without a US release or any sort of recognition in this country. However, the other day he took to his Soundcloud and let loose this free jam, which for me is more enjoyable than anything that was on the last album. Reminds of the good old days. More of this please, J.
