Jamie Woon - Shoulda (A64)
Friday, June 24, 2011 at 3:12PM Jamie Woon with a stunning performance of Shoulda for SBTV, which is one of my favourite tracks from his debut album Mirrorwriting - still the best release of 2011. Guy is a genius.

So, here it is! Skrillex's remix of the Nero & Sub Focus banger, which he has been dropping in his sets for the past few months. Probably my favourite Skrillex remix to date. Monster.

Here are my two favourite joints from Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun's upcoming collaborative album, Monumental, which will be available to download on June 28th. Pete has provided the entire production for the album, as well as vocals on several key tracks, including the title track itself. These two feature ex-Rocafella signee Freeway, Rock of Heltah Skeltah and Hip-Hop legend Bun B - on top of the singles/leaks, this gives you on idea of what you can expect from the rest of the release. Guaranteed to be one of the best Hip-Hop albums of the year.

Away from his normal straight up Dubstep work, here is a new Drumstep track from up and coming producer, Jeulzzz. This goes hard, and you can get a copy for free in the SoundCloud player below.

My favourite track from Limp Bizkit's long overdue sixth studio album, Gold Cobra, which is their first release since 2005. This album, due June 28th, sees the group back to their vicious best, mixing elements of Rock and Rap in a way that only they can. 14 years deep, and they are still Rollin'.

Here are two smashing remixes of Wretch 32's third single from his upcoming debut album, Black & White. First up is a pretty abstract Electronic rework courtesy of DJ Fresh, who is the man that has brought us one of the songs of the Summer in Louder. The second is a brilliant Tech/Progressive remix from Sezer Uysal, who has been a popular figure on the underground scene for quite a few years now. Future Data don't let their artists put out poor remix packages, and this one is no exception, even though the Manhattan Clique remix is pretty poor. Enjoy, and make sure you cop Don't Go, which is out August 14th.

My favourite track from SBTRKT's self-titled debut album, which is set to be released on June 28th. This guy is well-known for producing some next level shit, and this whole album is no exception. One of the more enjoyable listens of the year - forward thinking electronic production, with lots of soul.

Monday, June 20, 2011 at 9:26PM Clement Marfo & The Frontline is a 7 piece band from South London, who are incredibly talented and refreshing. They have dope rhymes, lots of soul and a clear passion for what they are doing, which comes through in their music. Here is their brilliant A64 that was put up today, and you can also watch a sick performance that they did for ID Online last week, HERE. Expecting exciting things from this lot.

16Bit have produced a monstrous Dubstep remix of Chase & Status' (their label owners) new single, Hitz. This is one of my favourite remixes of the year so far. Available on the Hitz EP, which will be out very soon.

Last month the legendary Gil Scott-Heron passed away. As a tribute Paris based vocalist Sandra Nkaké created 'A Place for You', based on Gil’s cover of Inner City Blues. It features Jean Phi Dary on rhodes, Antoine Berjeaut on trumpet, Matthieu Ouaki on guitar, Jî Drû on flute and Sandra herself on vocals. Sandra also asked Mark de Clive-Lowe amongst others to remix the song as part of their tribute. An incredible tribute, that you download for free HERE!
