The Warehouse Project 2012: Opening Weekend Line-Up

This morning saw the guys over at The Warehouse Project unveil the line-up for the opening weekend for this year's season. The opening weekend will take place on Friday 28th Sept - Saturday 29th Sept, and features two widely contrasting events. The Friday sees Rinse bring their show to the table, for their 18th birthday party, with headline acts Katy B, Skream, Diplo & BBK, alongside other acts such as P Money, Lianne La Havas, Zinc & many more. Whereas the Saturday will be a much more chilled out affair, with Nicolas Jaar, Maceo Plex, Julio Bashmore, Four Tet, Maya Jane & Heidi (B2B) and lots more to take to the stage. Bloc Party - Octopus

Yesterday, marked the release of 'Octopus' the first single from Bloc Party's forthcoming album Four. The first fresh material to be heard from the band since their 2009 hiatus began, I'm not yet quite sure what to make of this, it is nice if nothing else, however, to see that what were one of my favourite indie bands are finally back in the game.
