Today Roc Nation newcomer Rita Ora unleashed the visuals for upcoming single 'How We Do'. The track's radio premiere came just last month at the hands of none other than Jay Z himself and while I'm not sure I like it quite as much as 'R.I.P' it none the less sounds as though it could have serious hit potential. Snow Patrol's tour of North America landed in Canada last night, and here is footage of support act Ed Sheeran performing his 10 minute version of 'Give Me Love'. There are many reasons why this is my favourite song on his album, but the way it goes down live and opens up the show is one of the main ones. Sounds like Canada love him...

Today it has been announced that Adele, Kate Bush and PJ Harvey will fight it out for best album at next month's Ivor Novello awards. Two of Adele's tracks, 'Rolling in the Deep' and 'Someone Like You', are nominated for most performed work, alongside Take That's 'The Flood'. 'Rolling in the Deep' is also up for best song muscially and lyrically, alongside 'The A-Team' by Ed Sheeran and 'Shake It Out' by Florence & The Machine. The annual awards, to be presented in London on May 17th, celebrate British and Irish songwriting and composing and are voted for by songwriters.
