Example, Ben Howard & Lost Prophets added to Radio 1's Hackney Weekend

Radio 1 have today confirmed that Example, Ben Howard and the Lost Prophets have been added to this year's Big Weekend on Hackney Marshes. Also added to the bill are B.o.B, Madeon, Santigold, Gyptian, Sway, Delilah, Lethal Bizzle and Enter Shikari. Jay-Z will be headlining the event, which takes place on 23rd & 24th June, with Ed Sheeran and Jessie J also appearing. Feel gutted for anyone who hasn't been booked for this.

Global Gathering 2012 Full Line-Up

After the Creamfields line-up was announced last Friday, fellow Dance festival Global Gathering have today revealed the full line-up for their two day event in July. Alongside the most well-received stages, some new stages have been added this year, which will be hosted by UKF Bass Culture, A State Of Trance, Visionquest, Metropolis & Digital Soundboy. Tinie Tempah, Chase & Status & Friendly Fires are the three main headline acts across the weekend, with artists such as Armin van Buuren, Skrillex, Jamie Jones, Nero, Netsky & many more scattered across the Stratford-based site. A few days ago Insignia, a side project of producers Resotone & Jernalism, dropped this liquid-infused freebie, entitled "En Route", on their Soundcloud. And it's a cracker, with the drum and bass element providing a metronome for a soothing and atmospheric piece that's been receiving a lot of love lately. Excited to see what else these guys are going to churn out, this one's top-notch.

Standard & Push - Super Soaker (Culprate Remix)

Due out on R3GMA Recordings on 27th March, here is the incredible Culprate remix of Standard & Push's forthcoming single "Super Soaker". Taking the glitch-hop feel of this track and exaggerating it tenfold makes for an irresistably jump-up sound that reminds me of KOAN Sounds new stuff in particular. And the talent that this guy oozes is ridiculous, conistent as hell. Love this.
