The Weeknd - Initiation

The other night The Weeknd took to his Twitter and simply wrote "initiation... initiation... initiation.", and then 24 hours later, he drops a brand new track entitled, yep you guessed it, Initiation. A bass heavy Hip-Hop-esque beat shows a different side to the R&B crooner, but I like it, and find it much more enjoyable than most of the stuff on the recent Thursday mixtape. His third mixtape, Echoes Of Silence, is set to drop this fall, but for now you can enjoy this and download it HERE.

Phil Weeks - By My Side (Gramophonedzie Remix)

Gramophonedzie adds his stereotypically funky and upbeat twist to the latest single and my favourite track from Phil Week's brilliant 2011 release, Love Affair. The incredibly catchy sample of 'I'd Find You Anywhere' by Creative Source (which has also been used by The Game & Jadakiss) is enough to get anyones feet moving, but with the Serbian's input, this remix will be sure to get the dancefloors shaking over the next few months. Some people may think it's a bit weird, but this is Meth, forever pushing the boundaries.
